About the Position Carlton Wine Room is expanding and looking for a Commis or Apprentice chef to join our dynamic and talented kitchen team. Re-opened in February of this year, Carlton Wine Room has new owners and a new kitchen. Working within a small team, you will have the opportunity to work with a well-executed, fresh and seasonal menu, focusing on local produce whilst working directly with farmers and local suppliers. As a small business and a small kitchen, we aim to create an environment where everyone is highly valued and supported. Work life balance and a positive kitchen environment are fundamental to our team. We achieve this by offering a 4 days on, 3 days off working week. We are looking for someone with the following attributes At least 2 years experience in a similar role in a fast paced kitchen Ability to work in a small team, possess a can-do attitude and a willingness to learn Good communication skills Strong work ethic If you enjoy working in a fast paced kitchen, have a passion for honest, delicious food and are looking to expand your knowledge and develop new skills, we would love to hear from you.
