About the role A unique opportunity has arisen for a newly created role as the Administrative Co-Ordinator in the SE of Melbourne on a permanent part-time basis, reporting to the Project Manager. This is a multifaceted, challenging and highly rewarding position in which you will be solely responsible for the initiation & implementation, developing, coordinating and the administrative requirements of a new Community-based business, starting from ground zero . You will be totally responsible for · Coordination and management of sales, stallholder enquiries, follow-ups, and applications,and the identifying of new opportunities. · Management of the creating of calls for the delivery of proposals, and the securing of new stallholders. · Development of content for event website, collateral, and social media. · Collaboration with designers to develop event collateral and information tools and materials · Coordination of marketing of regular weekly promotional activities (e.g City Bands,Marching teams, jugglers, etc, etc ) · Monitoring and scheduled reporting on progress of the business performance. · Development and maintenance of effective relationships with a wide range of stakeholders. Essential experience · Experience working in the administration of a Retail environment. · A minimum of 2 years solid experience in a professional Retail environment. · Excellent verbal and written communication skills. · Demonstratedtime management skills, ability to prioritise tasks, create and meet acceptable deadlines. · Able to work on multiple aspects concurrently. · Exceptional attention to detail. · Effective problem solving skills and initiative. Medium experience · Medium experience coordinating Retail programs with multiple stakeholders. · Medium experience with promoting and marketing events. · Medium experience with designing and producing marketing collateral for promotion of events. · Experience with Retail sales and management of sales targets. · Proficient in creating and working with a database. · Proficient in working with Microsoft Office products (especially Excel ) · Well-developed analytical and reporting skills. Desirable skills and experience · Understanding of the community-based sector. · Experience coordinating Retail events. · Knowledge and experience of social media channels. · Qualification to certificate level in a Retail discipline or Marketing · Experience working with creative agencies (PR, marketing, design) Suitably qualified and interested individuals should submit a letter of introduction and CV.
