You will be responsible for the secretariat, administration and grant management and project support duties Your new company This statutory authority that represents the interests of the Australian and state and territory governments, and sits within the Australian Government s Health portfolio. Your team is responsible for designing, implementing and evaluating a Research and Development Pilot. Your new role This position plays an integral part in the team and you will be responsible for performing broad administrative support. In particular you will be responsible for the secretariat, administration and grant management and project support duties. This is an autonomous role and you will require confidence, professionalism and high level communication skills. You will undertake basic research and liaise with senior government stakeholders while providing team administrative support. Grant management and administration Manage application evaluation process Negotiate and prepare grant funding agreements, monitor grant funded projects , Support assessment/evaluation of grant management and administrative Correspondence management Draft communications e.g. emails and letters monitor the team joint email directory, ensure incoming and outgoing correspondence for the team is registered and managed in a timely manner. Meeting coordination Prepare pre-meeting paperwork arrange and book travel and accommodation arrange catering meeting room set ups and pack downs. What you ll need to succeed As the successful APS5/6 Research and Development Support Officer, you will have experience in you will have demonstrated experience in project management and providing administrative support for teams. You must be an Australian citizen and will possess or be willing to go through the process to obtain and maintain an (NV1 or NV2) personnel security clearance.
