Each baby seat comes attached to a base unit - the base unit attaches to the car interior. Each baby seat can then detach from the base unit in the car so that one can easily lift the baby - still in the seat - from a car **Good for sleeping babies** The seat can then be carried - and upon return to the car, the seat easily re-attaches to the base.
