The Connecting Care Program and Parkville Electronic Medical Record (EMR) The Connecting Care EMR Program is a digital partnership between Melbourne Health (MH), The Royal Women s Hospital (RWH), Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre (Peter Mac) and the Royal Children s Hospital (RCH) to transform patient care and research in the Parkville precinct. Connecting Care will expand the cutting-edge RCH Epic EMR to operate across the four health services, creating one powerful shared clinical and research system and setting a new benchmark for EMR technology in Australia. As the Connecting Care Mental Health Analyst, you will be responsible for the design, build, configuration, testing and implementation of the Behavioural Health functionality and deliverables for the EMR at Melbourne Health, the Royal Women s and Peter Mac. Clinical Documentation project team responsibilities include the following functional areas All clinical documentation across specialties, disciplines and departments, clinical handover, handheld devices for nurses, discharge summaries, PICU / NICU functionality, device integration, decision support,recording documentation and conducting barcode validation at the patient bedside, and care plans. Requirements for the role These positions would suit candidates with a clinical background and/or skills and experience within the following professions who have experience in the Mental Health field Midwifery Nursing Allied Health Medicine Social or Behavioral Science The successful applicant will have Experience working in a tertiary hospital Experience in the implementation of an EMR or eHealth system A tertiary degree.
