About the Position Patient Service Assistant Our client are urgently looking for Patient Service Attendants with a Certificate 3 in Health Services Assistance to work at a hospital in Melbourne on a casual/ongoing basis. To be considered for this role, you must have a certificate 3 in Health Services Assistance, a Police check, previous experience in a hospital environment and be adaptable to changes on a daily basis. Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to - Care and Maintenance of the clinical environment - Re-stocking clinical supplies - Discharge and General Cleaning - Patient Re-positioning - Pathology and general courier tasks The successful candidate will demonstrate the following attributes and experience - Minimum 1 year experience in hospital/clinical environment - Excellent written, verbal and spoken communication - Must have full time working rights (No student Visas) - Must hold a certificate 3 in Health Services Assistance (HSA) - Understanding of confidentiality - Understand the unlikely event of exposure to COVID-19 patients, and be comfortable in attending. - Police and WWCC is a MUST The job offer will provide such benefits as - Immediate access to medical assistance including testing if required in the unlikely event of potential exposure to patient or co-worker with COVID-19 - Infection Control - Program to provide confidential counselling - Product discounts - All staff will be provided with relevant training including infection control training - Weekly Pay - Flexible Working Hours - A safe and controlled working environment - Penalty Rates for Sat, Sun, Night and public holiday shifts Please note Pay rates vary depending on shifts.
