We are seeking applications from experienced Signalling Safety Coordinator Engineer to join our team in Melbourne. Reporting to the System Assurance Manager, the successful candidate will responsible for the administrative elements of the safety activity and will support the Safety manager to define what deliverables are required to achieve the Safety Assessment. The role requires to act as the internal interface between subsystem safety packages to ensure the milestone achievement to act as an interface to the customer on an administrative basis, which for example is the receipt and dispatch of safety documentation, arranging progress meetings. Your key responsibilities will include the following To work closely and liaise with the project s Safety Manager, Independent Safety Validator (ISV) and Independent Safety Assessors (ISA) to ensure a positive outcome (assessment) in accordance with the projects need and schedule Competence in undertaking the development of Safety Plan and Safety Case Coordinate the delivery of safety documentation according to the milestone plan. Report status to the Safety Manager. Participate in CCB meeting, perform and support safety analysis for open nonconformities. Work together with the safety engineers in performing safety analysis. Qualifications It is expected you will have the following qualifications, experience and personal characteristics Graduate in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent. Safety and System Assurance in an engineering field. Previous experience of working in a Safety role is essential. Structured and organized with hands - on approach. Hazard analysis techniques and methodologies. Customer & Project Focus. Fluent in English. Experience in a multinational environment.
