The Role and ResponsibilitiesAs a Teacher, you will be mainly responsible for the delivery of course material, assessing students and the supervision of students enrolled in selected courses in the School. Participation in the School s continuing reviews of course content and development, delivery, teaching methods (including on-line delivery methods) and methods of students assessment will also form part of this role. Skills & Experience RequiredThe successful candidate must be able to demonstrate strong industry links with relevant industry knowledge to be able to deliver current and contemporary vocational competences in the Civil and Structural Engineering. Experience in competency-based assessment would be highly advantageous and your ability to identify learning problems in students along with a desire to contribute as a constructive and proactive member will be essential to your success in the role. The candidate is required to have a Cert IV Training & Assessment (TAE40110/40116), and will need to complete compulsory new units TAELLN411 & TAEASS502 upon employment.
